Everything you need to know before getting started

What counts as a transaction?

Any single line item in your bank or credit card statement — a deposit, payment, transfer, or fee. A month with 45 bank transactions and 20 credit card charges = 65 transactions.

What if I go over my transaction limit?

No problem. Extra transactions are $2 each. If you consistently exceed your limit, we'll recommend the next tier for better value.

Do I need to switch to QuickBooks?

We use QuickBooks Online (QBO) for all clients. If you're on something else, we'll migrate your data as part of onboarding — no extra charge. Your QBO subscription is included in every plan.

How long does setup take?

Most clients are fully onboarded within 48 hours. You fill out a quick form, e-sign your agreement, and we configure everything in QuickBooks.

What if I'm behind on my books?

We offer catch-up bookkeeping at $75/hour. We'll get you current, then roll into your monthly plan. Most catch-ups take 2-5 hours depending on how far behind you are.

Are you a CPA? Can you do my taxes?

No — we're bookkeepers, not accountants. We keep your books clean year-round so your CPA can file your return quickly and accurately. We'll connect you with a trusted CPA partner if you need one.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use QuickBooks Online (bank-level encryption), communicate through a secure client portal, and carry $1M in E&O + cyber liability insurance. Your data is protected.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice. No cancellation fees, no penalties. Your QuickBooks data is always yours.
